INITIAL BUBBLES
The only information I had about the Lord of Misrule Bath Bomb, this seemingly plain green bath bomb, was that there was a surprise on the inside.
I was less than impressed with the plain exterior, a simple forest green ball sprinkled with little specks of magenta. It didn’t have much decor to it, simply an imprinted green star.
THE BATH
Once the bath was filled, in went the Lord of Misrule bath bomb, and yet again, it seemed disappointing in comparison to the other Lush bath bombs I’d tried, no pop, no crack, no fizz, nothing. Just globs of green foam being released in waves. I was told to be patient and to wait.
To the sound of a low crackling and popping, the orb FINALLY started to fizz! And fizz it did, with a very deep pink colour, starting to merge in with the forest green creating a beautiful marbled blend.
When everything was said and done, and properly mixed, a beautiful sparkling wine-coloured bath awaited me. Truly a modern take on turning water into wine!
FINAL THOUGHTS
Scent: fruity with a hint of flowery pomegranate!
Opacity: 2/10 (pretty translucent, but a decent amount of colour fills the entire bath top to bottom)
Final colour: sparking red wine
Verdict: YES YES YES! Do surprise your loved one with this! Or hell, treat yo’ self! Misrule is the name and bomb is the game! (I’m definitely getting another one come next year!)
Another Lush creation I’d love to bathe in again is definitely the Intergalactic Bath Bomb.
