INITIAL BUBBLES
When I got the Angels Delight Bath Bomb by Lush I didn’t know what to expect. Honestly, that goes for most of my Lush bath bombs, especially after my experience with Lord of Misrule Bath Bomb. The bright pink was very Barbie-esque. And, honestly, who doesn’t want a girly moment from time to time? Before putting the bath bomb in the bath, I had hopes: the scent would be strong, the colour bold, and the bathwater opaque.
THE ANGELS DELIGHT BATH BOMB BATH
Well, time for the bath! I dropped the bath bomb in the water. My finger came out stained bright pink. The bath bomb however sank straight to the bottom, creating a large cloud of orange and pink and immediately floated back up.
The bubble gum-esque (both in color and in shape) small ball was a bright surprise and lots of fun to look at, while it lasted.
This bath bomb might be one of the fastest fizzing ones I’ve used. Before I knew it, it was gone and in its place was a beautiful pink bath. Small bubbles kept coming from the bottom of the bath, but no bath bomb was visible. And just as fast as it had started, it stopped.
In I went, and after a couple of hours of relaxation, ended up staining the tub, a continuous glucose-monitoring device and my bath pillow.
FINAL THOUGHTS
Scent: Lush-like but indiscernible
Opacity: translucent
Final colour: glittery pink lemonade (the picture does not do it justice)
Verdict: It was nice to look at! The bathwater colour was interesting, but I don’t think I would get this again as I prefer my baths opaque and the colour (not the glitter, surprisingly!) was definitely hard to clean. Love Lush either way!
