Meet Yuki, an adorable kitten born at the end of May. This precious tuxedo kitten is mainly black with a white belly and white “mittens”. The moment you hold on to him, the purring commences, and… doesn’t stop. To my brother and other family members, he sounds like a well-oiled motor. He’s continually content and has a ravenous appetite. (Stay-tuned for stories where we surprised him eating the most unlikely of items!)
He loves to cuddle and he’s super playful. He follows us around everywhere we go, to the point that we likened him to a cat-dog.
We’ve discovered, that much like other kittens, bought toys were not of interest to him. His refined taste for toys revolve around handmade items (and socks!), so we obliged. We created several items made of lint balls from the washing machine, string and a stick and he much preferred that to the ball or other cat toys we got him.
When we met Yuki, he immediately jumped onto his now adoptive father’s shoulder and wouldn’t stop purring. His brother, a grey kitten with bulging cartoon-ish eyes, panicked when held, clawed his way off of me, and jumped away in fear. It was a split-second decision, but it was done. Yuki was coming home with us!
